Urzeitpark Sebnitz FAQ

Urzeitpark Sebnitz FAQ

Are there any discounts or rebates on the admission price?

Certainly. You can find our special prices for family, group, or season passes under Opening Hours & Prices.

Are dogs allowed in the Prehistoric Park?

Yes. If you keep your dog on a leash, you can also explore the Prehistoric Park with him.

Is payment by EC card or Visa or Mastercard possible in the Prehistoric Park?

Card payment is possible without any issues at the Prehistoric Park’s cash desk.

Can I also buy tickets online?

Yes, in our ticket shop, day tickets and season passes can be purchased online.

Why is the Prehistoric Park actually closed in winter?

One reason is the weather: rain and snow can make the ground very soft in places. And on the other hand, this allows us to use the winter for further expansion measures and repairs.

Is the Prehistoric Park accessible for disabled people?

Certainly, people with disabilities can also visit our park. 80 percent of the paths are wheelchair accessible. Unfortunately, the toilets are only accessible via stairs and thus not accessible with a wheelchair.

Are children allowed to visit the Prehistoric Park alone?

Children under the age of 14 may only enter the Dinosaur Park when accompanied by an adult.

Can you have a proper meal in the Prehistoric Park?

Unfortunately, we do not have the facilities to offer a snack bar or a restaurant for culinary services in our park.

However, for those with a small appetite, there is a well-stocked snack vending machine that provides chips, cookies, and other small items. There is also a coffee vending machine so you can enjoy freshly ground coffee of the highest quality.

Should you be more hungry, there are some restaurants within walking distance in the Czech Republic or uphill in the Forellenschänke recreational area (be sure to check the restaurant’s opening hours!).
